sup. we’re playing this show in san jose on sunday. we’re battling with sourpatch, which is the best band ever so we’re obviously going to lose, but we have a trick up our sleeve so at least it will be interesting. but seriously this is going to be a fun show. after this we’re not playing any shows for a while so we’re going to write a bunch of new songs. our other new songs should be arriving in cassette form in the next week or two for our split with bitpart. eventually we’ll put those songs on bandcamp or something.

this saturday we are playing a benefit that our friend vern is setting up. it’s a duel benefit for two awesome projects that she’s involved in — mutiny radio (formerly pirate cat radio) and watchtower monthly literary magazine the show is at the wix lounge at 22nd and mission. there will be comedians and a couple bands. show costs 10 bucks and i’m pretty sure that includes wine and beer!

also thanks to everyone that came to the show friday at 215 storey. it was probably one of my favorite shows we’ve ever played. i love playing in the house i used to live in and all of the bands were great and everyone moshed to our set. special thanks to anyone that sang along and to the girl that crowd surfed. everyone is so nice and i love being in this band so much!

On tues we recorded 8 new songs at the Atomic Garden Studios with Jack Shirley. It was insanely fun and although there are pictures — some crucial shots were left out. These subjects included but are not limited to: Rocky the wonder dog, Jack’s insane recording desk, our live room set up, the two inch tape machine, vegan cashew based coffee chocolate chip ice-cream, the loads of feral cats outside the studio, and the post recording garden fresh party.
